Our Mission

The UCR School of Medicine’s Center for Healthy Communities will lead and facilitate innovative research aimed at improving the health of culturally, linguistically, and economically diverse communities in the region, especially those who are medically under-resourced. Our goal is to build collaborations and partnerships between researchers and communities through education and research that addresses our communities’ needs and promotes health equity.

Our Vision

The UCR School of Medicine’s Center for Healthy Communities will become a national leader in community-based, multi-disciplinary research that engages a broad range of community, academic, and health partners to improve health and promote health equity.
